After a long break (4 months?!) and lots of imitators (I’ve seen that Ronald McDonald thing now more time than I can remember), 奴が来る (Yatsu ga Kuru) is back. This time, our intrepid 幕末志士 head out to Shifting Sand Land and attempt the red coins before the green devil can get them!

Again, super entertaining and awesome, forever. Looks like the next one might be the last one. Rainbow Cruise?! I can’t wait.

Two 20 minute videos have shown up on ニコニコ動画 showing the first part of FINAL FANTASY XIII. It looks really good.

But I totally agree with most of the comments. First, Afro is awesome. Second, time to by a PS3. And third… おかさあああああああああん！！！！The part where the girl pretends to shoot the guy at about 10 minutes into the second video has the best comments.

The opening movie for 頭文字D ARCADE STAGE 5 is up on NicoDou. I love Initial D, but another arcade game doesn’t get me super excited… But the opening movie has a sweet manga effect (called the しげのエフェクト in the tags) that you have to watch this video for. I bet it is somewhat inspired by the Street Fighter IV effect, but I really hope that it is actually in the game.

Yes, P(ピー)さん is back. After completing all of the original Super Mario Bros. at some odd high speed factor, he has made good on his promise to start doing Super Mario 3 at high speed. From this video, it looks like this will be quite the challenge! He spent a majority of the video on 1-4, a level that automatically scrolls. A lot of the comments are concerned he won’t be able to make it through those hard ass airships.

Man, I dunno what is in the air recently, but there is a lot of チルノ (Chiruno) videos going around recently. Figured I’d update ya’ll on some of them, after the jump! The one above seems to be from a non-IOSYS version of the チルノ song, おてんば恋娘 (otemba koimusume). The thing that is the clincher on this one is that チルミル is a baby formula with DHA, to make them smarter… pimped by Cirno, known to be the バカ⑨ of the 東方 universe. Then there is something about her eating frogs… Don’t make me explain everything! XD (Okay, that’s based on the whole things where she freezes frogs when she’s bored… there, I’m done.)

Of course, the majority of the Cirno related videos are based off the IOSYS joint, チルノのパーフェクトさんすう教室。

This video, ganked from Claytonian, is pretty funny. But I remember thinking, “Sounds like a fun one shot. But I see why he stopped at 1-3.”

But did you know, this is a SERIES! Yes, P (ビー) kept it up and just finished the whole game!!!! Took him 23 videos worth of play… heavily edited videos at that. From the time stamps on the videos, it looks like he has wasted the better part of 4 months doing this. For this, I commend you sir!!! Complete list of videos after the jump. A new episode of 奴が来る (Yatsu ga Kuru) is out. This one is basically a continuation of 参 where he attempts the 8 coin star on さむいさむい　マウンテン (SamuiSamui Maunten). It’s nearly 30 minutes… but with the cuts, it probably took many more hours to actually complete. But, does he actually do it?! The ending is pretty epic.

I wonder if there will be more episodes of this?! If there are, you’ll be sure to find ‘em here.

Also, again, can’t seem to find these on YouTube. ごめんなさい！

In this fun web series, the guys doing this don’t just play a game and make commentary (not that that’s a bad thing). In fact, the guy begins with his 120 star complete save of Mario 64. What makes this series unique is that he plays a fun metagame called 奴が来る (Yatsu ga kuru).

The rules are simple: He spawns a green mushroom, usually from climbing a tree, and then runs from it. If he get’s the 1up, he loses. The only way to win is to complete the star objective before the green mushroom gets him.

Anyway, humor ensues as they freak the fuck out every time the green mushroom shows up on the screen. It is based on another video series without narration where they just avoided the green mushroom, but the narration and build up in this series makes it way more interesting.
