NicoNicoDouga Help


Do you hate missing out on all the fun of NicoNicoDouga? Do you too want the experience of having comments flying across your videos? Is your Japanese not quite up to snuff for the sign up process?

As a service to all my loyal Japanese challenged readers, I will sign you up for NicoNicoDouga! Just leave a comment below including your e-mail in the e-mail field (don’t worry, it won’t be public, just be sure not to put your e-mail in the comment field!) and I’ll get in touch with you to set up your account.

    I want to know where to go to find the ~tried singing this type videos (people who sing vocaloid songs, etc.). Which category is it? and when I watch this video http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7916931 I can’t seem to mylist it because after it finishes playing, it goes to some other mr. children video. Is there a way to mylist the first one?
    How do I “watch” or “subscribe” to an user on Nico?

    「歌ってみた」 (utattemita) is the category for people singing: http://www.nicovideo.jp/tag/歌ってみた

    If you want to mylist before a jump occurs (that’s where it goes to something else), use the mylist button in the upper right side just above the player. The text is 「マイリスト登録」.

    If you want to subscribe to a user, go to their user page (e.g. http://www.nicovideo.jp/user/4638814) and then click the 「このユーザーをウオッチリストに登録する」 button on the upper right hand side of the profile.
